Apple lover

Today I entered an apple crumb cake,(my mother in law gave me) in a contest, at the Haldeman Mansion's Fall Fest. I won Second place! ( a $40 gift certificate to Bube's) It was the first time I've ever made it. I don't even know what it tastes like! It sure did smell good. I'm making another one tonight for Rick.

New Day

New Day in the neighborhood! I've got a new job! Today was my first day and everyone was very nice. I work with two ladies and the rest are men...I am incharge of in and out processing for Wilbur Chocolate at Crowe Transportation. I'm telling you it smells like chocolate and a lot of it! I'm surrounded by it all day! Thank Goodness it's packed in boxes!

Pain Free!

Down time

Ok, so how much down time can Margo stand? What a test from God.
My butts sore from laying around or sitting around. All I heaar is your foots not high enough above your heart...ok so some times the piggies turn blue when I'm up. And I am so up to date on what not to wear...& LA Inks! Wow just another 11 weeks!
My baby turned 21 today! We had about 15 of her friends over. I'm sure the neighbors enjoyed the rice burners...ie see pics they provided entertainment that I'm sure the neighbor's enjoyed...I think she had a good time. Happy 21 Jessie!

Count down has begun

Well, the count down has begun...My surgery is on the 17th and there are lots of things to get done first.I found out I may be off work 1 to 3 months (wasn't expecting that) -maybe two weeks or so.....
Rick and I have been busy re-doing a couple of rooms in the house now we are finally down to painting which should be done this week. :) Then he can start on the basement :) which is where all the fun will be. He so needs his room back to do his reloading thing. He has really worked so hard this summer and put off all the groundhog hunting he does for the farmers. I really want him to work on his room now. Hunting will begin soon. That count down has begun too....

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. The weather has been fantastic this week. Just the way I like it. Windows are open breeze is blowing ahh...
Went to physical therapy today...What a joke the "New" doctor sent me to learn how to walk with cruthches....After three years??? Hello is all I can say. The therapist was great and did a whole eval. and ultrasound treatment before calling the dr. to get better instructions. Then learned I was just there to see if I can use crutches after my surgery. What a hoot! She did teach me more stretching skills...
Hopefully I'll go there after surgery they were very nice.
Next time I'll get a pedicure first!
